Niklaus Wirth
Niklaus
Wirth is a computer scientist from Swiss. He was born in Winterthur,
Switzerland, 1934. He designed several programming languages, such as Algol W,
Pascal, Modula, Modula-2, dan Oberon. He received the ACM Turing Award for the
development of these languages in 1984.
Niklaus
has a wide body. his skin is bright. He always use glasses. He likes to wear a
grey coat. he has white hair and bald head. His face is round. His height is about
170 cm. He has a beard and mustache white.
In
1959 he earned a degree in Electronics Engineering from the Swiss Federal
Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich). In
1975 Wirth wrote the book Algorithms + Data Structures = Programs, which is
still often used. To date Pascal language became popular and is often used for
computer olympiad junior and senior high school level.
